The Town of Alford Massachusetts was founded in 1775 and is located in Berkshire County.

The community has a year round population of about 400 people.

The town does not contain any stores, motels or hotels and there is not a single gas station in town. All the buildings in the center of town are historic and all the residents enjoy the setting of beautiful trees, brooks and mountains.
